If there was an award for the most popular/favorite shoe of spring and summer, this year, the winner would most certainly be: THE ESPADRILLES!
Starting with straw at the bottom, most of the times, and continuing with anything you can imagine on top. Simple fabric, leather, mesh detailing, satin, suede, lace and even pony skin! Again, every brand and every store I checked has at least one pair. Sometimes you'll find them as simple flats, others as flatforms or lace-up shoes. I know there are also wedges, but I decided to stick to the flats today.
Remember the time I told you about the trend of man-repelling shoes? Well, this time, I totally get why all the fuss! Espadrilles are chic, comfortable, easy to style, suitable for any time of the day, perfect if you're not ready yet for sandals and flip flops and simply go with everything especially if they are more minimalistic like the ones from Chanel(above). I must admit I bought two pairs in the last month and I love them so SO much. Maybe it's because they make vacation look closer than it is, maybe because I can wear them in the city everyday and also take them with me when I go on vacation! It's my shoe crush I guess! Did you notice that some pairs from Zara and Mango look familiar? Hu-valentino-hu!
So, those of you who have been hesitating to get yourself a pair of espadrilles, I say, Go for it! For now, take a look at some nice pairs I found!

If you've visited my blog before, you probably know my addiction to lippies and nail polishes. I just need to have more and more and new colors keep coming out. Of course I don't buy all the things I crave, so the only thing I can do is daydream. I'm a big fan of essie nail polishes and their new Summer 2014 and Neons 2014 collections are absolutely addictive. I must admit that I prefer the neons for summer. All the colors are great and I simply can't pick a favorite. The beige(Urban Jungle) from the first collection, is so chic and you can totally wear it all year long.
The weather is finally warm and sunny here and with the correct accessories(nail polish is an accessory, I've told you before!) you can barely smell the summer approaching. It doesn't matter that we need to stay in the city and do really boring stuff that require hard work. We can always stay in fashion and keep it cool and stylish!
I can work on my blog, read great books, drink cold juices and tea, sketch, hang with friends and you can do all the stuff that make you happy in order to cope easily with your other obligations!
Here are the new Essie eye-candy shades for this summer! Enjoy!

Without you I got nothing to lose♥
Who's excited for finally being able to wear maxis without being afraid of mud, rain or cold? I know I am! Usually people link maxi skirts and dresses with formal occasions, but they couldn't be more wrong. You can wear them from day to night and create casual or more polished looks, if you style them properly. They are great transitional pieces so, if your legs are snow white or you haven't been doing those squads or you're just still cold, then this is your solution. They may be a little more dramatic, compared to ex.a skater skirt, but I would prefer a hundred times to see someone wearing a maxi piece than someone with a mini and shiny nude tights. Honestly ladies, if you have a pair of nude tights, in the trash, now. I'll look away! And don't say stuff like "I'm cold" because I know they really don't make that big of a difference. Trash! Now!
Anyways, back to the maxis. I chose the three most recent sets I created on Polyvore with maxis and they are exactly what I needed to show you. The first one(top) is something you can totally wear this season. The color of the dress is to die for and you can take or toss the jacket and the hat depending on the weather, the time of day and the place. The straw hat is a do-do if you visit an island. I just love the sea salt spray btw and the sandals are a must-have staple.
She looks so perfect standing there in my American Apparel underwear and I know now, that I'm so down Your lipstick stain is a work of art I got your name tattooed in an arrowed heart and I know now, that I'm so down♥

The second look(above), resembles the first one in terms of when to wear it etc. but it's slightly more bohemian. Again, take or toss the sweater(love love love) and the sunnies. I love the ethnic vibe of the cropped top and the Marc Jacobs ring-oh so cute!
Make me your Aphrodite Make me your one and only But don't make me your enemy Your enemy Your enemy So you wanna play with magic Boy you should know what you're fallin' for Baby do you dare to do this 'Cause I'm comin' at you like a dark horse

The last one is obviously a night look. I was inspired by the song "Dark Horse" of Katy Perry, which I love♥. But I did it before the video clip came out, so you can see how off my idea was. All the pieces here are to-die-for, maybe apart from the necklace. I simply can't choose my favorite! This is for a night out and it's more polished and sexy. The side-cut is perfect to show the shoes!
