You're all that I need underneath the tree ♥
Hello guys! Omg I can't believe that tomorrow night we'll officially welcome 2015...2014 has been a wonderful yet hard year filled with happy memories and numerous achievements. I've had my fair share of struggle for this year with tons of stress, pain and anxiety. December has been one of the worst months of the whole year and I really hope that will change in the new year. Unfortunately me and my parents all got sick so there are no fancy plans for us this time. We had to cancel all our NYE plans and we'll probably stay at the couch eating chinese food and watching Woody Allen movies. I guess it's all for the best and my body is telling me to cool down and breathe and stop exhausting myself.
Anyways, after all that unnecessary blabbering, lets get to the actual post. I thought I should make one for you, last minute elfs, who still haven't figured out what on earth you're going to wear tomorrow night. Whether you're spending the night at a fancy club, at a friend's house or simply at home with your family, this is the one time when you need to shine. Honestly, nye without a touch of sparkle is just out of the question for me.
Like a girl changes clothes...
I'm not talking about cheesy, over the top, drag queen situation, but more like a chic bling-bling. I know it's hard to keep it classy sometimes and that's why most of us usually go for the safe option, a little black dress. So, I thought I should show you different ways to be sexy, feminine and festive while keeping it chic. I know, these might scare you at first, but just give them a chance, for the sake of the holidays.
The first one(header) is perfect of you're planning to dance-or eat-all night. The boots won't give you blisters and the flowy dress will keep your belly safe and sound. It's the retro take of the Christmas red, very Twiggy^*. I think the clutch adds a little extra something, but you can swap it for a basic black or gold one.
The second look is meant to confuse all your friends. It's a metallic jumpsuit that's-oh so comfy. Hopefully you won't have to use the restroom. Everything in this set is a dream come true. From the pure-artwork shoes, to the incredible Bobbi Brown palette.
The third outfit is for the most daring ones and for those who are prepared to skip breakfast, lunch and dinner for a couple of weeks. Just kidding, eat what you want gurl! Let's be honest, it's quite hard to pull off something like this but I love it so much. Plus you'll be twinsies with Taylor Swift-yassss!
The last one is the safest of all four but it's still glamorous. I would kill-not literally-for these Loubis♥ The lace and the mesh detailing make the look interesting and sexy while combined with the gold headband will make you look like a D&G girl. Plus, what a better way to start the new year than wearing the color of 2015?
I hope that you guys like these looks and maybe they will inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and take your outfit a step further. No matter what you do-or wear-just remember to have fun and make sure that the new year finds you at your best. Let me know in the comment below about your plans for tomorrow.

As for me, I wish you all the best for the new year from the comfort of my couch. May your days be colorful and full of joy, love and health and may you always be surrounded by people you love and love you. At the end of the day, that's all that matters the most. Instead of adding a diet and workout to your resolutions this time(these are great and much needed too of course) try to be a better version of yourself, be kind to others even if they're not always kind to you, send positive vibes and positive vibes will come back to you. Don't be materialistic, but focus on the things that truly matter. Don't forget to love yourself and make a daily effort in all the aspects of your life.
May the new year be 2015 times better, brighter, happier and fuller of love and health than this year that passed!
My best wishes,
Elena❤ [insert 2015 hearts and kissy faces]

What's up guys? How are you all?
I am soooo busy and tired these days, but I had to make this post for you. In case you missed it, you can check out the post I did for 2014's color of the year here. I did this in May and I absolutely loved it, and you guys liked it too. So, I thought I should do it again now that 2015 is so, so close.
We're just a few breaths and blinks away from the new year, and Pantone has already announced the new it-shade for decor, fashion and beauty. It's called "Marsala" and it's basically the color of the well-known wine. I would describe it as a mix of burgundy, maroon, brown, beige and deep red...if that makes any sense. I read that it got some bad reviews, but I really don't understand why. Personally, I find it quite interesting. I was in love with the past colors but, as you can notice, they were all vibrant and vivid, almost neon. Marsala though is much deeper and mature in a way. It's much more versatile, since you can make tons of different combinations and it suits well both men and women. You can check out Pantone's page for potential combinations.
They call this color, "The new neutral". I sorta agree since it's really easy to put together many different looks using the color and you can wear it in pretty much any occasion, dress it up or down and make the transition from day to night.
I think that the best, and probably the easiest and cheapest way to incorporate this new color trend in your everyday life, is with the right cosmetics. This is why I found for you some of the best beauty products in the market, some affordable and some more expensive ones, as always. I know I went a little overboard with the lippies, but who doesn't love a red-ish lip, especially this season?
Also, exciting news, Sephora is launching a Marsala makeup collection in collaboration with Pantone Universe, just like they did in 2012 with Tangerine Tango. I can't wait!
Until then, you can stare at all these gorgeous products-or buy them XD. Enjoy!

If you want more Marsala inspiration, then you can take a look at Pantone's photoshoot here. You'll find some really great photos.
What do you guys think about the color of 2015? How would you wear it? Did you prefer Radiant Orchid? Let me know in the comments below♡
