Hello everyone! How are you? Doesn't it feel good finally being able to relax a bit after a terrible week? Sure does for me! Ok, this week wasn't entirely awful, because Nyx came to cheer me up!
Most of you probably know NYX. If not, it's an affordable makeup brand widely loved for the quality and variety it offers in a good price. The people from Nyx here in Greece were kind enough to send me some products to try out. I was so excited! I got a palette, a lipstick and a lip liner.
"Spring Fling" palette is seriously so cute. It has a magnetic closure and a little drawer that opens with a pink ribbon. The whole look of it just makes me want to wear my spring clothes even though it's raining outside. It comes with 12 eyeshadows, 2 blushes and 2 lipglosses. The glosses are pretty sheer and great to put on over lipsticks and the blushes are buildable and have a nice finish.
The colors of the eyeshadows kinda scared me at first. If you know me, I usually go for either grey or brown eyeshadows, so this palette sure was a challenge. Although, when I tried them, the colors were much more pastel and light. This makes them easier to wear but, on the other hand, you need to to add at least 2 coats for the color to show off well. Maybe it's because my skin is so very light. But the quality is good and if you use your fingers the result is more pigmented. Wait for an upcoming tutorial using these adorable colors^*
The lipstick is called "Big Cherry" and it is a cherry red. I didn't quite realise the term "butter lipstick" until I swatched it. It's so soft! The color payoff here is great but you can also get a more sheer result if you use a lip brush.
The liner is "Edge Pink" and it's truly a bold hot pink with a bit of shimmer. It's not hard or dry on the lips and it stays on for long.
I thought I should mix these two and I got this lovely color♥
I really liked all the things they sent me and I really hope they'll send me more in the future. As I mentioned, I will definitely do some tutorials with these products

Thanks again NYX

Hey guys! How is your weekend going so far? I'm sorry I didn't post anything for like 10 days, but life hasn't been that kind to us lately. Apart from the usual hectic schedule, something really tragic happened this week that really upset me. I'd like to keep it private, mainly because I don't want to make you sad too. Just remember that the future is so completely unpredictable so make sure not to postpone what you want to do, be honest about your feelings, let the people close to you know that you love them and live life to the fullest.
I know, you didn't come here to hear my whining and life goes on and we must work and study and put a smile on our faces. Let's get to the post. Spring is closer than we think, although it's kinda snowing here... February is almost over and there are plenty warm sunny days to come. If you are like me you probably feel like wearing your oversized dark fluffy sweater until April, and I don't blame you. But it's time to start thinking about our spring wardrobes.
Recently, I bumped on some of Paula Cadermatori's bags while I was looking around online. In case you haven't heard of her, she is a brazilian designer who was working for Versace until she launched her own line of bags in 2010 with the signature silver buckle.
I was immediately hooked! We all know how much I love crazy designs and vivid colors. My clothes may be a bit on the basic side, but my accessories are definitely crazy and colorful. These leather bags stole my heart. And, like it always happens, I can't afford them. Most of the designs cost over 1.000$ so, yeah, eye candy it is. Let's enjoy it.
Color block or monochromatic, studs, prints or embellishments these babies look soooo good! I can picture so many great outfits to wear them with. They are unique and crazy and fun. Aka exactly what you need for spring. Now, if you get a headache by just looking at them, then there are some safer options for you in here.
Can I just point out that the style kinda reminds me of Sophia Webster? Do you agree? Which one of these is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below♥

#nyfw 2015
Hey guuuuys! What is up? Are you wishing that you were at NYFW as we speak? That makes two of us. Yes, I'll admit it, I may have an addiction for the city, the designers, the whole thing. But can you blame me? It's a big fashion party!
This post should be no surprise to you if you've been following my blog since last season. You know I love to play stylist, especially when it comes to Fashion Week. This time, I put together 5 different outfits, 5 different looks to be precise. I know they are a little out for this terrible weather but you can always add a pair of tights and another layer under the coat and everything will be peachy.
The first one is sporty chic and comfy. Aka exactly what you need for nyfw. I wanted to dress down the pants and dress up everything else. Usually the pop of color in a black and white outfit comes from the accessories, but the pants work even better. It's one of those looks that feel like your pj's and this is why you need to be brave to wear them. After all, heels for special occasions are just so basic XD.

The second outfit does exactly what I described above. The lace on the pants, the candy color of the shoes and the adorable craziness of the bag...I really couldn't add any more color or details. Imagine it with an awesome updo to show off the ear cuffs and the sunnies.
NYFW #3 by ell0oukaa featuring a red backpack
The third one is probably the most casual of all five. Most of the pieces are staples and casual options, but I think the look good all together. Plus, I think that a backpack is perfect if you're going to run around all day from show to show;)
NYFW #4 by ell0oukaa featuring a 14k gold ring
The fourth one is one of my favorites. It's so fun and playful and I love how neon yellow looks with denim and blue. Stacking a zillions pieces of jewelry is [literally] my life. I think the gold choker really adds that extra something.
This last one is my cup of tea♥ In case you haven't heard, pink is my favorite colour and this outfit is so perfectly controversial. A baby pink romantic skirt that looks like a tutu, a sexy leather bralet, a glamourous grey fur and a statement necklace, edgy spiked ring and leather backpack and space high-tops. All that combined with velvet black nails and winged eyeliner basically describe many aspects of my personality. The hot pink sweater is perfect to protect you from the cold, but also to tie it around your waist for a more laid-back look.
So, what do you guys think about these outfits? Would you wear any of them at NYFW? Which one better reflects your style? Let me know in the comments below♥
