You've probably got what today's post is about. NAILS! Well, nail polishes, to be precise. If you asked my friends two months ago, they would all tell you that I ALWAYS have a different color on my nails. Some of you might have noticed that this is not the situation on the photos I upload here. A couple of weeks ago, even though I was using base coat, my nails were really damaged and weak and kept breaking. This is why I decided not to use any polish(apart from the transparent shiny one) for some time. And it worked! My nails are starting to look better and stronger day by day, getting ready for the awesome springtime colors.
I absolutely adore nail polishes! I consider them as an accessory that, just like clothing, is related with my mood. Sometimes, in the middle of summer I feel like doing black nails and during winter I'm craving a bright shade. When I saw all the new colors for SS14 I was so thrilled-I literally want every single one of them. Lately, I'm having a huge baby blue addiction(I keep searching for the perfect baby blue boyfriend coat-any suggestions?), but this doesn't stop me from falling in love with the rest. Everything is so perfect and inspiring, the pastels, the vivid ones, the neon...all sexy, chic and feminine. As always, I'm proposing both the affordable and the more pricey choices, it's all up to you. Have fun with them! I think we all love ^!and deserve!^ a good manicure! What are your favorite shades for SS14?
DIOR ( porcelain, bouquet, bloom, perlé, blossom, pampille)
ESSIE (find me an oasis, cocktails and coconuts, resort fling, under the twillight
FOREVER 21 (head in the clouds, maple, safari, lavender dreams, sea green)
H&M (chillout, pink macaron, serenity now)
AMERICAN APPAREL (american denim, french lilac, made in LA-teal)
CHANEL (riva, ballerina, charivari, tapage)

?More or less? #3
You've probably realised by now how much I love finding more affordable solutions of the same outfit or product. Initially, this started as an attempt to find items myself that would be similar to the ones I saw online and costed too much. But then, I started to put together entire looks in order to help other women in the same place as me. I am determined to make everyone understand that money and style are not connected at all. Money is just a luxury that might give you a head-start, and of course we all love designer clothes! But, if you can't afford them it doesn't mean that you can't have style. To me style is something that's inside you, something you can cultivate but you can't buy!
In this set I made on Polyvore, I created a very relaxed yet chic outfit that you can easily wear for your everyday activities. The difference between the prices is huge(mostly because of the pendant) so I decided to add an inexpensive J.Crew shirt at the affordable set. Technically, it's a designer piece, but if you choose another cheaper shirt the price of the entire look is even lower! The entire second look actually costs less than every single product of the other look(except the shirt)! Kinda shocking isn't it?
Which one of the two outfits do you prefer?
Tell me what you think and follow me on Polyvore if you want to check out my latest sets!

I know I should have made this post earlier this week, but I've been super busy with a symposium the past few days and I didn't get the chance to upload this. Anyway, here it is now. As I mentioned at my previous post, these photos are taken by my dear friend Dimitra, you can check out her work here: she is amazing!
The other day, while strolling around, we found this gorgeous little place with great light and we knew we had to take some photos. I love posing but I also love being behind the camera so all the photos we took were so beautiful!
This fluffy sweater is so comfy and pretty but it was a huge mistake since that day the weather was really warm. It adds some extra volume at the upper body but I love the way it feels. But that's just me...It was great working with Dimitra and I look forward to the next time! Enjoy the weather in these photos!

Are you ready for a trip to Ancient Greece? Back when art, science, philosophy and democracy created the perfect combination... These photos are from the actual ruins in the center of Athens. The old market, the temples and the houses, all still there taking us ages ago. It is truly amazing the feeling you get when you visit places like that, even if you've been there many times before. You just feel connected with the glory of the past, with the great philosophers and politicians. You can also see some Christian monuments being there in such harmony with the environment. It's really surprising for many people to discover that right in the center of the big city full of traffic and modern problems, still lays this peaceful, monumental place. How can someone not love their city when it consists of  so many hidden treasures?
I chose to display at the end, a photo of my awesome friend(and photographer!) who helped me make some amazing shots that I'm going to show you on my next post. Don't you just love her Toms?
Have you ever been in Athens? If yes what did you think of it?
