Heaven Online

Hello my loves! Can you believe it's February already? Time seems to be flying by and I just can't believe the second lockdown has lasted so long here in Greece. How are things where you live? Here, everything is closed and we even have a very strict curfew during the weekends. Hence, any big plans for Valentine's day are simply not an option.

Even though I am not the biggest fan of this highly commercialized holiday, I must say it feels nice to have something to look forward to when all you do is stay inside and work. Plus, it's a great opportunity to take a break from stretchy pants and top knots and actually devote some time to pamper yourself and get dressed - even if you plan on staying in your house all night. That is why I created three Valentine's Day looks to help inspire and motivate you guys to show some love to yourself on February 14th!

The first look I put together is for all you gals who plan on spending the day with your special someone. Even if you are just going to lounge on the couch and order Chinese food, why not spice things up and surprise your partner with a new lingerie set? I absolutely adore the combination of silk and lace, as well as the deep red hue of these garments. I feel like they are so sensual and luxurious that you just need to spritz yourself with a delicious scent and you are good to go. And if you want to take it up a notch, you can always dress the lingerie up with a pair of fierce stilettos, your favorite dainty jewelry, and some red lipstick that suits your complexion!

The second look is for all my single girls who will be indulging in some self-care, alone or with a couple of besties. You can tell silk is a recurring element in this post, not only because it suits this day so well, but also because it is a personal favorite. Stay comfortable with a soft loungewear set (bonus points if it's in baby pink), pick out your favorite chick flick, prepare some delicious snacks, gather your favorite skincare products, and enjoy a chill night in!

This last look is for the lucky ones who live in countries where bars and restaurants are open - or for those of you who are planning a more fancy evening at home with a candlelight dinner, expensive wine up on the roof etc. You already know that you can't go wrong with a little black dress, since it's so timeless, sexy and chic. I chose to pair this gorgeous Alex Perry piece with some dashing pink accessories to make it more romantic and playful, but any other color combination will do. I think this would look divine with some sleek old-Holywood waves and a soft-glam makeup look to top it all off!

What do you guys think of these sets? What would be your go-to look for Valentine's Day? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Hello, my dears! I am back, after what turned out to be a full and wonderful summer and I am packed with energy to learn and create new things. We shall see how long this lasts!

Nobody is sadder than I am that summer is over, but the optimistic side of me is always looking for the silver lining in every situation. Hence, I decided to create a post about one of the things I am most excited about when it comes to going back to the office. That is, if you are indeed going back. I am aware that a lot of people are still working remotely, since the whole COVID-19 situation doesn't seem to be improving. My team and I will start going to the office for two weeks per month, so I really needed some inspiration after spending weeks in swimsuits, pajamas, and fun summer clothing.

A quick disclaimer before you proceed. I consider myself lucky enough to be working for a company without a strict dress code. That, in addition to the fact that I don't meet with clients in person on a day to day basis, means that I basically get to wear any clothes I like, provided that I steer clear from anything too revealing. I can wear comfy hoodies and oversized, fuzzy sweaters in the winter and play with fun combos during the warmer months. That being said, I usually end up waking up late and opting for jeans and booties, but it's nice to have to option to experiment with my style and express my personality through my looks. So, if your workplace has a strict dress code, you probably won't be able to pull off these looks, but they can surely act as inspiration for you to adjust to your own lifestyle.

This first look is for all my girls who are always on the run and aren't willing to sacrifice comfort. It is also great if you use public transportation and want to have your hands free and not have your skin touch the seats. I love the light colors and cool tones of this set and I think it will be convenient for anyone whose day is packed with errands.

The second look is more youthful and playful and seems great for people with creative jobs (like graphic designers, copywriters, etc.). I like how the denim skirt constitutes a middle ground between jeans and shorts and could be deemed acceptable in certain workplaces. I also fancy the black and white detailing and the contrast between the different accessories.

I love how this third set combines a feminine aesthetic with more laid-back elements. You can tell that sneakers are a recurring theme in this post and for good reason. They simply constitute the epitome of comfort and are so versatile that you can pair them with pretty much anything. I also like how this more structured bag can help make your transition from the beach to the office easier.

This last set represents the way I would wear shorts to work. I am usually not a fan of exposing too much skin at the office, so I would opt for a long sleeve blouse to contrast this longer pair of shorts and make it more appropriate. I would also like this look with ballerinas, but I guess I am guilty of still desperately clinging to the remainder of summer vibes.

What do you guys think of these sets? What would be your go-to outfit for going back to work? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

STYLE FILE: THIN STRAP HEELS

Hello, my darlings! How are you doing, this lovely day? Are you excited for the weekend? I know I am. Ever since we got out of the lockdown, I have been craving the beach more than ever and the temperature that keeps rising surely calls for a dip in the sea - all safety rules followed, of course.

Even if you are currently still at home, or live far away from the beach, there are many things you can occupy yourself with, fashion being number one on the list. That is why I wanted to dedicate this post to a trend that has taken the fashion world by storm lately.

Thin strap heels have been all over my Instagram feed for the past few months. From all the designer collections that have launched and our favorite fashion bloggers to all my IG friends, I believe it is safe to say that everyone and their mom has purchased a pair of these sleek sandals in, at least, one color.

STYLE FILE: THIN STRAP HEELS

The Pros

These shoes constitute a refreshing change from all the monstrous pairs that have been dominating the runways and the streets in the past few years. As someone who has never been a fan of the "ugly-shoe-trend", I certainly favor this more dainty and ladylike option.

If you opt for a neutral color and a clean-cut heel, you've got yourself a versatile and timeless accessory that could complement most of your outfits. If, on the other hand, you are feeling more adventurous, a statement heel and a bold color are guaranteed to make you stand out and could, potentially, be re-worn at a party or two in the years to come.

The Cons

If you wish to stick out from the crowd and not blindly follow the trends, then this shoe is probably not the best pick for you. If that is the case, you may want to try some embellished designer flats from brands like Prada and Miu Miu, which are fresh, different, and perfect for summertime.

Additionally, thin strap heels are a gamble when it comes to flattering your figure. If you go for a very thin and short heel and have bulkier legs (like I do, from all those years playing volleyball), you shouldn't be expecting these shoes to do you any favors.

The Styling

Nonetheless, these sandals are some of the most easy-going accessories that have emerged in the past few years. As you can see in the photos I have selected, you can style them with pretty much anything and have yourself a fashionable outfit.

Pair them with your jeans to make your look more feminine, enhance the elegance of a dress or skirt, pick a nude color to make your legs appear longer, or try a fun hue to spice up any outfit. The options ate truly endless and totally up to you and your creativity.

The Verdict

Personally, I am all up for trends that suit my style and I would very much like to give this one a go. After all, a pair of these would go great with so many items from my closet and a girl can never have too many shoes... Right?

What are your thoughts on this emerging fashion trend? Have you tried it yourself? Let me know your opinion in the comments below!

Hello my dears! It has been forever since I last posted on here and, boy, have things changed. As we are currently dealing with the effects of COVID-19 and everything is shifting with each day that passes, we are called to #StayHome in order to protect ourselves and those around us.

I could go on and on about the impact that this global crisis has had on the world and each one of us individually but, frankly, I am in the mood for something lighter and more upbeat, so I will not bore you with my bubbling. Instead, I am here to discuss quarantine fashion since, apparently, this is a thing in 2020.

Let's be honest here. There are, arguably, some upsides to this lockdown. For one, we get to enjoy precious time alone and with our families which, to me, is a great privilege. Not having to wear a bra, is also quite fun. However, no matter how appealing it may sound, laying around in your pajamas all day, is not that good for you. Getting dressed and taking care of yourself on a daily basis can improve your mood, and even help you be more productive and make the most of your newfound spare time.

That is why I decided to put together a few looks that are ideal for staying stylish while being at home. I even paired each outfit with an activity that can keep you occupied during these turbulent times.
STAY HOME STYLE
Very few things are more comfortable than high-waisted, loose-fitting pants made of soft material. Pair them with a bralette to keep things stylish, throw a cardigan on top to stay cozy, light your favorite candle and enjoy the company of a good book. Effortlessly chic messy buns are highly recommended.
STAY HOME STYLE
The great thing about being home is that pants are optional. Stay breezy with an oversized sweater (bonus points if you've "borrowed" it from your boyfriend), keep yourself warm with a pair of over-the-knee socks and enjoy the soothing feeling you get when you paint your nails in a shade that screams spring. You could even multitask and listen to a fun podcast or blast some uplifting music while you're at it.
STAY HOME STYLE
If you are like me and you get to work from home while all this is going down, then a pair of jeans is perfect to help you maintain your discipline throughout the day and successfully complete all your tasks. Pair them with some chic loungewear and elevate the look with jewelry and a bold lip to tackle video calls like a boss.
STAY HOME STYLE
There is no better time to indulge in self-care than right now. Get in some cute silk shorts and grab your coziest sweater 'cause it's me-time (well, you-time)! Exfoliate your skin, apply a moisturizer with a delicious scent, try out a new face mask and, last but not least, don't forget your beauty sleep!

So, that's a wrap! I am testing out this tool called Urstyle, trying to figure out if it could replace Polyvore for me, and I would love to hear your thoughts on these sets I put together. So, please, leave me your feedback in the comments below and let me know if you would like me to create more sets like these!

Stay Home. Stay Safe. Stay Stylish.

Hello my loves! I am back ♥

As you probably already know, I love to find show-stopping pieces to add in my wardrobe. I have never met a dazzling garment I did not like, yet lately, I tend to gravitate towards more classic and practical clothes that I can wear over and over again. I blame my hectic schedule for that but, regardless, I never cease to be amazed by beautiful things.

That is exactly what happened the first time I stumbled upon this jumpsuit at elegrina.gr. I just could not stop staring at the photos and all I could think of was that it looked formal yet so effortlessly chic at the same time. I feel like it is ideal for so many different occasions, from birthdays and cocktails with friends to weddings and events, depending on the way you style it. Here, I wanted to keep it simple in order to let the jumpsuit shine.

There are two things I love about this piece. The fit and the detailing. I ordered the size "medium" and I was pleased to discover that it fits and compliments my body perfectly (which is always a gamble when you order clothes online). It is a tad long for me, but I don't mind it since I am only ever going to pair it with high heels. The fabric is soft and stretchy and did not irritate my sensitive skin at all. It feels really comfortable wearing it and moving around and I like the sleeve since it makes it more interesting and eye-catching. The belt is detachable so you can really play around with it or remove it if you prefer a cleaner look.

I just felt really elegant and sexy wearing this garment and I simply can't wait for the next time I will get to put it on.

All in all, I would one hundred percent recommend you checking out this jumpsuit, or " ολόσωμη φόρμα " like we call it in greek! And, if jumpsuits are not your cup of tea, elegrina.gr offers a wide selection of dresses (aka φορέματα) to choose from!

What are your thoughts on this little black jumpsuit? Let me know in the comments below! ♥

Hello my darlings! How are you feeling this warm summer day? I am certainly feeling optimistic about the future and I am excited to start getting back on track with my blog. I know I say that every single time and the truth is that life has been rather hectic lately. But I just love posting here and I really want to do it more regularly.

Anyways, today I wanted to put together a little wish list with an item that I see as a staple in my summer wardrobe. The yellow dress!

Dresses are my go-to for warmer months and I believe you can easily incorporate them into most social situations. They allow you to show some skin, feel the summer breeze and embrace your feminine side while staying sexy and comfortable (well, most of the times). And yellow is perfect for this season since it is vivid, fun and happy and it instantly rings summer.

The first item on my wishlist is a Knot Gingham Cami women mini yellow dress that is the definition of cuteness and looks perfect for summer walks. What I like about it is that you can dress it up or down and pair it with white sneakers, sandals, espadrilles and even throw a denim jacket over top.

The second one is technically a romper which looks like a dress but is much more comfortable - unless you need to use the restroom. I love the neckline and I feel that it would flatter many women. And, because it is yellow and not pink, it doesn't look childish which is always a plus.

The third item is also a striped romper, but this one has a much more relaxed vibe. I like that it is more casual and, in my vacation deprived head, it screams resort. Plus, like the previous one, you can remove the belt if you like and pair it with several different items.

Lastly, I chose this mid-calf dress with 1/2 sleeves for a more polished look. By that, I mean that this dress is not exactly fit for the beach but it goes without saying that you can pair it with white trainers or slides to make it more everyday appropriate.
Is it just me or the lemon print reminds you too of Dolce and Gabbana? I simply adore it!

Hello my dears! How are you all holding up after Easter break? I had the best time during the break but now I am back to my everyday routine with work and college essays and I am just swamped. Even though my schedule is pretty hectic, my little Easter getaway really fuelled me and motivated me to keep going. I also wanted to get this post out of the way so I can start working on other, exciting things for you!

Anyways, this is another post for AXDW. In case you missed the last one, you can check it out and discover my outfit, my makeup and my favorite looks from the shows.

For the 4th day of the shows, I wanted to put together a chic and polished look that was still feminine. I chose high-waisted striped pants in charcoal grey and a pink ladylike bag with pearls and a gold chain (my absolute favorite piece) from Stradivarius. The pants are SO comfortable and versatile and you can literally dress them up or down for so many different occasions.

My ballet pumps and my structured black coat are from Zara and they are also basic pieces in my wardrobe. Thus, I wanted a little extra detail to my look and I added a vintage see-through lace top and a bralette from Oysho underneath. To finish it off, I added gold handmade earrings from Strass Bijoux. I am beyond obsessed with this look and with how comfortable it was and I would totally wear it again!

As for my makeup, well, you can expect a full post about it in the near future 😉

The shows on the 4th day were pretty spectacular and they really impressed me and my fashion friends. Some pieces that really stood out to me were the baby blue embellished dresses from Hermina's Raea, the gorgeous ladylike dresses from Vassilis Zoulias and the dreamy summer collection from Follie Follie that really blended so nicely with the marble architectural elements of the venue.

One more fashion week has come to an end, which you probably already know if you follow me on Instagram! Athens Xclusive Designers Week takes place here in Greece twice a year and I always love going. I may not adore every single bit of it (like how chaotic it is) but I do enjoy dressing up, meeting up with my friends from the industry and seeing what the designers propose for the upcoming seasons. It's like a big fashion party!

This year I only went there for two out of the five days since, over the years, I have become more eclectic and I choose to only see the designers I really like. If you've ever been to fashion week, you understand how tiring it is to attend every single show. I was very tired in advance, so I just wanted to enjoy some good quality shows.

For my outfit on the first day, I wanted to go big and I clearly didn't seem to care about the "less is more" rule. I wore loose-fitting, black, high-waisted pants from Zara, which were rather simple, so I decided to pair them with a vintage leopard print shirt and a vintage yellow jacket.

axdw heaven online

I absolutely adore the contrast and the mix n' match vibe of the look.

axdw heaven online

I didn't want to wear heels since I had to use public transportation to get there, so I opted for chic black ballerinas also from Zara and I finished the look with a vintage Chanel-looking bag and gold statement earrings from Strass Bijoux.

As for my makeup, I chose nude lips since I didn't want to overpower the yellow jacket with vivid colors. Thus, I set my focus on the eyes, with a brown smokey look and simple black wings. To finish it off I added blinding highlighter, which is always a must for me and, well, I already had bold brows to begin with.

The eyeshadows I used were Sephora brand, the lipstick, the highlighter, the blush and the contouring kit were Makeup Revolution, the eyeliner and the foundation were L'oreal, the concealer was NYX and the mascara was Max Factor.

I really liked the shows I attended, especially Olga Karaververi, Tassos Mitropoulos and Kathy Heyndels. I loved the romantic wedding dresses, the floral prints, the bomber jackets and the vivid colors and there were definitely pieces that I want to make mine and incorporate into my wardrobe!
