You probably got what today's post is about. NAILS! Well, nail polishes, to be precise. If you asked my friends two months ago, they would all tell you that I ALWAYS have a different color on my nails. Some of you might have noticed that this is not the situation on the photos I upload here. A couple of weeks ago, even though I was using base coat, my nails were really damaged and weak and kept breaking. This is why I decided not to use any polish (apart from the transparent shiny one) for some time. And it worked! My nails are starting to look better and stronger day by day, getting ready for the awesome springtime colors.

I absolutely adore nail polishes! I consider them as an accessory that, just like clothing, is linked to my mood. Sometimes, in the middle of summer I feel like doing black nails and during winter I'm craving a bright shade.

When I saw all the new colors for SS14 I was so thrilled-I literally want every single one of them. Lately, I'm having a huge baby blue addiction (I keep searching for the perfect baby blue boyfriend coat-any suggestions?), but this doesn't stop me from falling in love with the rest. Everything is so perfect and inspiring, the pastels, the vivid ones, the neon...all sexy, chic and feminine. As always, I'm proposing both the affordable and the more pricey choices, it's all up to you. Have fun with them!

Are you ready for a trip to Ancient Greece? Back when art, science, philosophy and democracy created the perfect combination... These photos are from the actual ruins in the center of Athens. The old market, the temples and the houses, all still there taking us ages ago. It is truly amazing the feeling you get when you visit places like that, even if you've been there many times before. You just feel connected with the glory of the past, with the great philosophers and politicians. You can also see some Christian monuments being there in such harmony with the environment. It's really surprising for many people to discover that, right in the center of a big city full of traffic and modern building, still lays this peaceful, monumental place. How can someone not love their city when it consists of so many hidden treasures?

I decided to make this post today for various reasons. First of all, February 14th is supposed to be the day of love, and there is no better way to give love than showing you actually care for the people around you. Because a disease like these ones is not just something that happens far away, to strangers. It can be anyone, a friend, a neighbour, a relative.

Also, tomorrow is the International Childhood Cancer Day. It really makes me sad the fact that everyone remembers a commercial meaningless day (because as I mentioned yesterday, if you are in love you can celebrate all year long), and no one remembers the day right after it, that actually matters. Be positive, smile, give love and have a happy Valentine's Day!

That's right, tomorrow is Valentine's Day! If you have

a date, then you are very lucky, but if you are single, just

like me, then tomorrow is probably a weird day for you.

It can be sad and awkward to watch all the love birds

kissing around you, but it's not the end of the world.

You can still go out, be with your friends, have fun,

dance, laugh, sing, wear your perfect dress and your

favorite heels-maybe you'll meet someone special also

single!

My point is that there's no need to feel depressed

and lonely. If you are in love you can celebrate all year

long and if you are not yet it doesn't mean you are

cursed never to fall in love and meet your other half

or whatever you are searching for, just because you

don't have a date on Valentine's Day. Be positive!

Anyway, I made this set today to propose to you two

Unfortunately, I am not able to attend Fashion Week abroad this month due to other commitments. This, of course, doesn't mean that I can't be "there" with my eyes and mind. I have styled four different outfits so far, for the first four days of New York fashion week (starting with the forth above and counting down). I know it's really cold there but I can't help it - spring mood is starting to take over place in my mind! I played with different colors and textures, trying to embrace the spring notes in my brain, but I also tried to keep it warm by adding an oversized coat.

This post is probably the biggest one right now since I also chose my favorite looks of the shows to show you, from style.com. Everything was perfect and I love how the designers presented the original moody winter colors but also included some interesting color blocking and some more vibrant shades and exciting material (metallics♥).
