Happy International Women's Day! I hope you are all happy this special day. It's really important to learn to value ourselves and also to be appreciated by others. People often consider women to be weak and sometimes less important and smart, capable etc. than men. But, in order to make others see who we really are we should, first of all, believe in ourselves and never let others dictate our lives. Every woman is beautiful and she shouldn't feel she is not good enough because she doesn't follow the guidelines of the society. Don't give in and just surrender to the materialisation. Being just like everyone else, just another copy of a specific model, is not personality. Embrace your inner goddess and let your true self shine!

This is what I'm trying to do, and also what I want to make my designs look like. Strong and fierce women, independent and beautiful! There is only one man in here and he's actually the only one I've ever sketched! I want to make more in the future but for now he's all alone between the ladies. This might be the day that females rule.

Today I want to talk to you about one of my style icons, one of my favorite models of all time, Twiggy (Lesley Lawson)! British, started to work as a model while she was still a teenager and she managed to conquer the fashion world and become one of the symbols of the 60's. She became famous for her petite figure and her androgynous style. Big eyes, long lashes, short hair. Her creativeness and sense of fashion made her the inventor of the lashes drawn under the eyes, named after her. What can anyone say about her? It's such a shock to hear people say "I don't know who she is" or "she's ugly"!

A legendary icon, a powerful source of inspiration, she is and will always be my favorite!

What do you guys think of her?

Accessories can definitely define and upgrade your everyday look with no effort at all. When it comes to jewellry, just one statement piece or all together, something MUST be there.

Today, I decided to show you my newest ones. All from Strass Bijoux, perfect for both summer and winter, and all gold! I used to prefer silver over gold but I've changed my mind. Of course I still adore my silver spikes and my lovely cuffs and pendants, but my current obsession is gold.

I am completely in love with this heart pendant! I wear it everyday-it's cute, it's simple and it goes with everything♥ The bracelets are the perfect transformation of the classic pearls in a younger version and look really good compared with the gold infinity bracelet with rhinestones.

In the last photo you can see the other products I'm obsessed with. Baby lips lip balm by Maybelline and face cream by Yves Rocher. The truth is that baby lips just came out in Greece and I haven't tried it yet because the package is so adorable to rip it off. I've been using this cream for many years and it is exactly what I need. Since I'm still really young, I want a light product for moisturizing-just a gentle touch on my sensitive skin. The chamomile scent is just so relaxing yet fresh, making this cream perfect to start my day!

You probably got what today's post is about. NAILS! Well, nail polishes, to be precise. If you asked my friends two months ago, they would all tell you that I ALWAYS have a different color on my nails. Some of you might have noticed that this is not the situation on the photos I upload here. A couple of weeks ago, even though I was using base coat, my nails were really damaged and weak and kept breaking. This is why I decided not to use any polish (apart from the transparent shiny one) for some time. And it worked! My nails are starting to look better and stronger day by day, getting ready for the awesome springtime colors.

I absolutely adore nail polishes! I consider them as an accessory that, just like clothing, is linked to my mood. Sometimes, in the middle of summer I feel like doing black nails and during winter I'm craving a bright shade.

When I saw all the new colors for SS14 I was so thrilled-I literally want every single one of them. Lately, I'm having a huge baby blue addiction (I keep searching for the perfect baby blue boyfriend coat-any suggestions?), but this doesn't stop me from falling in love with the rest. Everything is so perfect and inspiring, the pastels, the vivid ones, the neon...all sexy, chic and feminine. As always, I'm proposing both the affordable and the more pricey choices, it's all up to you. Have fun with them!

Are you ready for a trip to Ancient Greece? Back when art, science, philosophy and democracy created the perfect combination... These photos are from the actual ruins in the center of Athens. The old market, the temples and the houses, all still there taking us ages ago. It is truly amazing the feeling you get when you visit places like that, even if you've been there many times before. You just feel connected with the glory of the past, with the great philosophers and politicians. You can also see some Christian monuments being there in such harmony with the environment. It's really surprising for many people to discover that, right in the center of a big city full of traffic and modern building, still lays this peaceful, monumental place. How can someone not love their city when it consists of so many hidden treasures?

Because a disease like these ones is not just something that happens far away, to strangers. It can be anyone, a friend, a neighbour, a relative.

Also, tomorrow is the International Childhood Cancer Day. It really makes me sad the fact that everyone remembers a commercial meaningless day (because as I mentioned yesterday, if you are in love you can celebrate all year long), and no one remembers the day right after it, that actually matters.
