Heaven Online

I can't think of a better way to celebrate this post, than the awesome collab with Julep. As I'm sure you know, Julep is a fab beauty brand widely loved all over the world. If you don't know them yet, just check out their new nail polish color page and I'm sure you'll love them like I do.

In my part of this post, I will show you how to create a fun spooky design on your nails for Halloween. I decided to go for a goth, zombie kind of thing. I think it really sets you in the mood.

Step 1:

Apply base coat and dye your nails with black polish. I used the black one from Seventeen (or Julep's "Jet"). Apply twice for a bolder result.

Step 2:

After the black coat dries, take a white polish and create a big dot in the middle of your nail. Make sure that the dot is not too thick otherwise it will take forever to dry. I used "Winter White" by Maybelline (or Julep's "Dana"-extra points since it gets electric blue under black light- super spooky).

Step 3:

Use the brush tips and extend from the dot to create the jaw. Basically a tiny square. It doesn't have to be perfect.

Step 4:

After the head of your skull dries, use the same black nail polish we used in the beginning to create two ellipses for the eyes, a smaller and a larger one. Use the top of your black brush on the jaw to create the illusion of teeth. Let the details dry.

Step 5:

Use a dark red polish to add some blood. Be creative! I wanted blood coming out of the eyes and the mouth and then I thought it would be nice to have blood falling on the skull from the tip of my nail. I used "Red Seduction" by Maybelline (or Julep's "Anisha").

Step 6:

Use the tip of your brush to create red or white scars and maybe add some more blood at the rest of the nails.

Step 7:

Finish with top coat and you are done!

Your nails can be shaped however you like, to achieve this look. I like mine in the rounded square shape. I didn't use any special tools to create this, just the regular brushes of each polish. You can use a toothpick though if you find it hard to do it with the brush.

And now, for the Julep's part of the post, they send me and exclusive Halloween nail tutorial, just for you guys! How amazing is that? It's obviously much more professional than my design and super fun to do. Enjoy!

I hope you guys enjoyed this extra special exclusive post. If you decide to recreate any of these two I would love to see it, so please post a photo on instagram and tag me @helena_tsk and Julep @julepmaven

Have an awesome weekend!
Happy Sunday everyone! I already did a post about my September favorites and in the spirit of trying new post ideas, I thought I should do one about my instagram photos of the month. Just to give you a little more insight to my life. A few more details to the photos than the caption offers.
(header): A french braid is my life-saving go-to style. Rain, humidity, crazy hair, just don't want my hair on my face? French braid! Combined with this cozy mariniere and the gold bow-knot it makes me feel like a french girl.
Delicious dessert with strawberries, creme patisserie and madagascar vanilla! Light and divine!
It was raining and the sky looked so amazing. It really takes my breath away whenever I look up these days. #teamrain
Pink office supplies were much needed! They make studying so much better. I love pink, we all know that!(latin in the background-.-)
We were at the center of the city, or just "center" like we call it, really early in the morning and it was such a pleasure to see the always overly crowded streets almost empty for a change. Btw this part is one of my favorites in Athens. It's just culture and nature, past and present all in just one look...
My friend has been really into origami lately and she is making swans and birds and other cute stuff. She made me this butterfly♥
Throwback to an amazing summer in Paros. Aegean in the back, the shadow of a palm tree and my carefree, happy and relaxed self. Truly miss that.
Hand cream brought to me from Bulgaria by a friend. It's never too early to start protecting your skin now that it's getting chilly. This beautiful rose scent just makes it even better.
Someone cut off parts of a really big tree in my neighbourhood and while I was walking home, I noticed these beautiful flowers on it and I had to take them home. One of the greatest books, Piano Lessons, right next to them.
Walking in ancient ruins, in Athens, back when it was still warm in the beginning of September. This light...
Wings and b&w for life! Eyeliner and mascara are obviously essentials for a night out. My eyebrows are natural btw.
Bathroom selfie at a girls night out-much needed. Wearing my beloved leather jacket from Zara^^
If you guys like my photos you can check out the rest of them on my Instagram http://instagram.com/helena_tsk and follow me if you havent already.
Feel free to DM me or comment here and tell me how your month was!
wrap skirts heaven online

Last season was all about the skort. Basically, a pair of shorts that looks like a skirt. Comfy and stylish. This fall, straight from the runway, has emerged a new trend. The wrap skirt. It looks very much like the skort, to be honest, but it is a skirt.

But, this one you can also wear at work and choose from mini to midi, to maxi. There are many textures and prints to choose from so you can achieve a more edgy, sophisticated, boho or romantic look.

I would be terrible if I just showed you the Isabel Marant ones (header). But, since I'm always proposing alternative inexpensive options, I couldn't bail on you this time. Plus, did anyone else notice that the khaki skirt from Mango looks surprisingly like the leather Isabel?

There are really limitless options to style these. With or without tights, with heels, sneakers, ankle or biker boots. With cropped tops, button-downs, chunky sweaters, leather jackets, cocoon coats and so many more! It's a piece you can wear from day to night, in several occasions and styled in different ways. Definitely the multitasker of the season (woohoo!) ;)

If you can't afford Burberry, I'm here for you. We will always have H&M, Zara, Mango and Topshop with options just as cute.

I don't know about you guys, but I for sure am excited to try this new trend. What about you?

Everyone is like "Hello September" all over the social media and then there's me..."I hear you, but I chose not to believe you". Just kidding, I hope we'll all have an amazing month!

The truth is that besides the beginning of the hardest school year ever, I really love Fall. I obviously love summer, but there is a time every year when you need a change. You're full of summer memories, new friends, tan lines, piles of shorts, ice cream... You can continue. And that's when you start craving what's about to come.

If I started stating all the things I love about fall, well that would be a long list. Instead, I gathered some images that can really express a part of that. I want tea, rain, books, blankets, boots, leaves, sweaters, hot chocolate, my favorite TV series, fashion week, candles, socks and also just spending time with my friends.

I know that in the US you have Thanksgiving, Halloween, Baseball games etc. but here we don't so this is why I didn't add them to the list. This is it...enjoy♥
