Heaven Online

Hello my loves! I hope that life is treating you amazing this month. I now that I've been MIA for so long, but my schedule has been so overwhelming lately. I can barely find the time to breathe properly so I hope you can excuse my absence. My finals are right around the corner and I just can't wait (#not).
Anyway, today I wanted to lighten up the mood a little and talk about some spring trends and colors. I teamed up with Bonobos to create some spring His & Hers outfits and share them with you. In case you haven't heard of them, Bonobos.com is the place to visit if you are looking for high quality fashion forward menswear.
For this project, I was inspired by some men's outfits that they put together and I styled some for the girls myself, based mostly on my favorite color palette for spring. I know that everyone has a different perspective when it comes to spring. During the winter, we all tend to gravitate towards darker colors but, when the weather starts to get warm, we start drifting a bit.

Some prefer prints, some prefer pastels, some neons and some just like to stick to the good ol' neutrals. Personally, I tend to stick to the neutrals and add a pop of color or mix n' match some prints. It's all about balance in my book. Lucky for me, the trendiest colors this spring are all I have in my closet! I just adore denim, dusty pink and khaki!
The first male outfit is very laid back and I love how they paired the stripes with the bandana and the different hues of blue.

To go with it, I decided to play with denim on denim and add some pops of red. That could easily work with blush as well, if you're not feeling particularly bold. I like how we stick to the classic blue and red but, also, how it's fashionable and not boring at all. As for the embellished denim, you know it holds a special place in my heart. Also, how awesome are those mules?
Let's be honest here. Is there anything more basic atm than a khaki bomber? Probably not. But it's just so versatile and it looks so good. We're not used to seeing it paired with blue, so that's a nice change and I prefer the patterned bermuda shorts from the plain old denim.

Don't you just love the jeans on the hers outfit? The cut and the hem are so 2017 and the butterflies make them so much more interesting and unique. I feel that it's such a cute outfit that you can wear to so many different occasions. It's stylish yet laid back and many different girls can pull it off.
This guy is all about mixing the light neutrals and I love it. It takes guts to wear such light colors. Thus, I think he wouldn't mind dating a girl who isn't afraid to take risks.

That floral ensemble is to die for. It's very airy and bohemian and I like how the black tones it down and goes so nicely with the sandals. I could easily see these two lovebirds strolling around in the city!

So, this is the first part of the looks I put together. I love them all equally and I would easily wear them any day. I think they incorporate many of the styles and the colors I've been loving lately.

Hello my loves! I've missed you soooo much. I know I'm the worst for not posting anything for like a month or so, but I have good reason. I barely had any time to breathe. I've been so busy lately with work and college and, being the perfectionist I am, I couldn't add another task in my daily routine. My blog is my baby, my favorite way of expressing myself and sharing my passion with all of you. This is why I don't want to half-ass anything here. I just wait until I have enough time, energy and excitement to write an amazing article for you (and for me too 😝). I hope you understand ♥
Anyway, today I wanted to talk to you about something that has been on my mind for the longest time. Peach makeup! If you know me, you know that makeup is my obsession, my passion, my weakness. I can spend hours watching tutorials, hauls, Instagram posts, talking about makeup and, of course, doing my own.
I absolutely love experimenting with trends and trying out new products so, when I found out about the peach trend, I wanted to try it right away. Now, what I love about makeup, is that you can recreate any possible look using only the products that you already have in your collection. Yes, everyone and their mom has released something peach-themed, from Too Faced to Kylie to Colourpop. And yes, I wish I could try them all out. Being on a budget has, unfortunately, never favored anyone who is obsessed with cosmetics :/ But, luckily, I made it work.
sick sweet warmth 😉🍑

I used my favorite peach blushes and all the eyeshadows with a warmer peach undertone that I could find in my collection. Also, you guys know that I love to mix n' match more than anything. Thus, I used different lipsticks to achieve the perfect peach lip at home. I was astounded by the result.
Now, why so much fuss about peach, you ask. Well, first of all, it immediately makes me think of spring. It's warm, soft, vibrant and it's just one of those colors that instantly make you happy. Plus, I feel it adds a healthy glow to the skin, while complementing all skin and eye colors out there. Basically, the perfect transition color for spring. Sweet yet interesting.
You can use it to achieve pretty much any look, from soft everyday simplicity, to full face glam! It's less cliche than pink and less tacky and bold than orange. The ideal hybrid that looks good on everyone! What's not to love? ♥

Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe it's finally 2017? I am so glad that we are moving on from the year that must not be named ;) I had the most amazing time on nye and I really hope you did too. Being genuinely happy around my friends and family is something so precious and empowering and it really gave me hope for the future. May the new year bring happiness, health, love and success to us all! I wish all the best for you and your loved ones ♥
I don't know about you, but makeup always makes me happy. Thus, one of the things that put a smile on my face this holiday season, were all the press samples I received. Aromca was kind enough to send me a bunch of makeup and I can't thank them enough!
I mostly got lip products. A gorgeous waterproof lipliner from Artdeco in the shade "10", a lovely deep red shade(1st swatch). I also got a matte red lipstick (Perfect Mat 116 Poppy Red) from the same brand (3rd swatch) and a creamy one from Erre Due (Full Color Lipstick No.420 Criminal Red) in a similar shade (2nd swatch). Both of them have orange undertones-which are not my favorite-but they are very pretty. The only downside to the E.D. lipstick is that is bleeds and gets on my teeth. Like, a lot :/ So I guess I either need a lip primer or a lipliner underneath.
The third lipstick that I got was also from Erre Due (4th swatch) in the shade 587. It's a gorgeous matte vine shade that is right up my alley. It vanished when I ate, but stayed put all night when I was drinking on NYE ;)
I'm really excited about the highlighter that I got too. It's in the shade Cinderella Pink-My Precious Glow (5th swatch) and it's a lovely pinky-white shade. It offers more of a subtle glow, but it gets better if you spray it with some Fix Plus. It has a gorgeous floral design and it smells like a delicious cupcake♥ #yum
Other than that, I got the Velvet Touch Lengthening Mascara from Artdeco and a brow pencil from Erre Due. I haven't tried either of them because I already have some mascaras in my rotation and I didn't want this one to dry out and I also gave the brow pencil to my mum as a gift, since I don't need to fill in my eyebrows.
All in all, I am beyond excited with all the makeup that was send to me and I can't wait to play more with it!
[the first video shows the highlighter, the second one my nye look featuring the vine lip from Erre Due-so does the pic of me smiling, and the other picture shows me wearing the red lipliner and lipstick from Artdeco]

What do you guys think of these products? What makeup look did you opt for on NYE? Let me know in the comments below ♥
