Hello my precious darlings! How are you this lovely day? Are you ready to discover more summer essentials? This time, I teamed up with Rosegal, the intimate fusion of endless possibilities that vintage and modern apparel has to offer. Their website is simply amazing and you can find a wide variety of stylish stuff to drool over. They even have a plus-size section which I think is amazing (even though I don't fall into that category). Everybody deserves cute and affordable clothes no matter what size they are! ♥

Today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite pieces from rosegal.com . Believe me when I say it was really hard to narrow it down and only pick a few things.
I wanted to create a wishlist for Summer 2k17, even though August is the last month of summer. We still have plenty of sunny days ahead of us and, for some, summer is just beginning.

As for me, summer is one of my favorite times of the year for many reasons that I believe you all understand. One thing that I really love about it though, is fashion. I feel that it's so much easier to look cute during the summer, when you don't need to wear puffy coats and thick sweaters that hide your figure. Summer is the time to play with colors, patterns and embrace lightweight fabrics. And, of course, to enjoy life by the water in your favorite swimsuit.

For my wishlist, I picked some of my favorite swimsuits and rompers for summer time. In my opinion, rompers are the ish. Not only they look extremely cute and are very trendy atm, but they are so easy to pull off. Most of them are not too tight, thus allowing you to breathe and not sweat a pig, and you just throw them on and you are good to go for any occasion. You can wear them at the beach, to go shopping, to go grab some coffee, to go to a summer party etc.

The first bikini that I chose is not the most practical, but it is super cute, without a doubt. I love the blue and white, the off the shoulder style and the lacing.

The second one is baby blue and scalloped, aka ideal for chic summer looks. You can find it in many other colors, even though I doubt that it will be a good fit for you if you are a bit more busty.

I feel like the third one that I chose is probably the trendiest this summer. It gives me serious Kourtney Kardashian (and maybe Baywatch?) vibes and I think it would look really sexy with a tan.

Lastly, I chose a one-piece that is white and chic. I think it would be perfect for some stylish Instagram pics #goals

As for the rompers, I chose two. I simply adore the red one with the floral pattern. Can't you tell that I'm a sucker for off-the-shoulder designs?

The strapless striped one is also really cute and it has kind of a formal feel to it. Perfect for nighttime strolls.

You want some new clothes, why not taking a look over here?
Summer sales ongoing, all from 33% off. Use code RGEN for another 10% off!

Hello my loves! How is your summer going so far? Mine has been crazy. Extremely busy, full of unexpected events and some amazing experiences that I can't wait to share with you. Anyway, as you may know, wedding season is still very much on. I mean, what better time to celebrate your love for your s.o. than now that the sun is shinning so bright? Being only 20 years old, wedding isn't currently in my short term bucket list. Nonetheless, I can still offer you my style advice.

In my previous post, we discussed the do's and don'ts of wedding gift giving and today we're going to talk about your clothes. Aka I'm trying to make you the best and most stylish wedding guest ever 😂 First, let me give you some tips that will help you survive a summer wedding.

Choose lightweight fabrics

In my book, being Greek and all, summer equals some serious amounts of heat. Hence, you need to be dressed accordingly. Pick something airy and flowy and, preferably, stay away from anything too tight. The last thing you need is everyone staring at your sweat stains. You want to breathe properly and be comfortable for the long evening that awaits you.

Be careful with the patterns

It is well known that summer wakes our inner flower child. Yes, bohemian vibes may be your ish, but for a wedding, you may want to consider toning it down a little bit. You don't want to look like a hippie or overdo it with crazy patterns. If you want your outfit to be more summer appropriate, you could opt for a monochromatic look with a nice color (not too bright).
If you are into color-blocking, stick with the pastels. Baby blue and rose quartz look a lot classier than hot pink and vivid turquoise.

Consider your poor feet

Some women can walk on stilettos with swag all day and others can't make a single step without tripping. Maybe you can practice or maybe that's just how things are. But, when it comes to a wedding, you need to be very thoughtful about the shoes that you pick.
First of all, keep in mind that many summer weddings take place outdoors. While I want to think of myself as very skilled when it comes to walking (and dancing) on heels, I can't even stand the thought of doing that on grass, sand or anything other than solid ground. So you may want to keep that in mind before choosing sky high heels.
Luckily, fashion has evolved enough for us not to be required to wear heels to look formal or stylish and you can find amazing flats for any occasion.

Other than my tips, I highly suggest you take the following style guide into consideration:

And if you don't own a suit appropriate for the occasion? Worry not. You can always check out the tuxedo & suit rentals that The Black Tux has to offer! (hint: Christian Grey would approve)

Anyway, these are just some guest style suggestions. At the end of the day, keep in mind that you need to stay true to your personal style an aesthetic and simply adjust it to fit each event. Just be you boo ;)

What are you planning on wearing to the next wedding you're invited to? Let me know in the comments below ♥

Hello my darlings! How is your day going so far? Personally I am enjoying the summer heat and trying to relax while I'm catching up with work. I absolutely adore summer! ♥

In case you forgot, wedding season is on, at the moment, and the struggle is real. Not just for the brides and grooms to be, but also for the guests. Because even if you are opposed to the idea of marriage or you are too young to get married (like me), you still have to attend. And God knows how many weddings we'll have to go to this summer.
Sure, planning an entire wedding from scratch is no picnic, but attending one also comes with things to worry about. What will I wear, who should I bring as my +1, what kind of gift should I get them?
Luckily for us, Zola is here to help. It's an online platform for wedding planning and registry, where you can find useful tools and a wide selection of wedding gifts. Since they are bomb when it comes to weddings and I kinda shop for a living, I teamed up with them to give advice to wedding guests regarding the gifts.

Let's start with some basics. Usually, the couple will provide you with some guidance on that matter. A registry, a bank account to deposit money or (if you are close) a gift suggestion. It goes without saying that you ought to follow their will.
Giving the couple money or gift certificates is perfectly acceptable and, some would say, easier. They could use it for their honeymoon or to buy something they need for their new home. Just make sure that you deposit the money on their bank account and not show up with a check the day of the wedding. #classless

Same thing goes for the gift. It is rather distasteful to bring your gift to wedding and it may cause discomfort to the couple as well. You should send it to them prior to the wedding and make sure that it's clear that you got it for them. This way, they will be able to send you a thank you note once they return from their honeymoon.
Now, if there is no registry, you free to choose any gift you like for the happy couple. Proceed with caution though. If you are close to them, you could always ask them what they need and it's always good to include all the necessary papers in case they want to change it for something else.

The gift should reflect your relationship with the couple and show that you put a lot of thought to it - especially if they matter to you. Also, if they brought you something expensive at your wedding, you should probably do the same.
If you are close with them, you may be tempted to get them something funny or inappropriate. Don't 😝. Opt for something more classy and timeless that they could keep for years and years.
Moreover, if you only know one of them personally, it's no right to get a gift just for one of them. Their wedding symbolizes them becoming "one" and that is what the gift should be about. Get something that they could both use.
As for the budget, it depends on your finances and on your relationship with the couple. The closer you are, the more you need to spend. If you are involved in the wedding (bridesmaids etc), the gift should be pretty high end and boujee (300$ +)
If you don't know the couple that well and they just invited you out of politeness, you could get away with a pretty cheap gift. Get them photo frames, inexpensive kitchen tools (like frying pans, woks, mixers etc), trays, towels, platters and home decorations.
For friends and family that you are not extremely close to, the price rises a bit. Kitchen appliances are always great (toasters, slow cookers) and so is cutlery and knives. You could alsο get them sets for the bathroom or the kitchen and even china. If you want something chic and efficient, opt for a vase.
If someone you're really close with is getting married, you are expected to spend a bit more. The options here are endless. You could get electronics (camera, TV, stereo), expensive appliances (mixer, espresso machine), vases, pitchers, glass sets, luggage and even furniture. That golden bar cart really caught my eye!

All in all, keep in mind that the gift should come from the heart and should reflect your feelings towards the couple, as well as your personal taste. It should be clear that you were the one who picked it out and that you did it with love.

What do you guys think about all those gifts? Which one would you choose for the next wedding you're invited to? Hello my loves! I hope that life is treating you amazing this month. I now that I've been MIA for so long, but my schedule has been so overwhelming lately. I can barely find the time to breathe properly so I hope you can excuse my absence. My finals are right around the corner and I just can't wait (#not).
Anyway, today I wanted to lighten up the mood a little and talk about some spring trends and colors. I teamed up with Bonobos to create some spring His & Hers outfits and share them with you. In case you haven't heard of them, Bonobos.com is the place to visit if you are looking for high quality fashion forward menswear.
For this project, I was inspired by some men's outfits that they put together and I styled some for the girls myself, based mostly on my favorite color palette for spring. I know that everyone has a different perspective when it comes to spring. During the winter, we all tend to gravitate towards darker colors but, when the weather starts to get warm, we start drifting a bit.

Some prefer prints, some prefer pastels, some neons and some just like to stick to the good ol' neutrals. Personally, I tend to stick to the neutrals and add a pop of color or mix n' match some prints. It's all about balance in my book. Lucky for me, the trendiest colors this spring are all I have in my closet! I just adore denim, dusty pink and khaki!
The first male outfit is very laid back and I love how they paired the stripes with the bandana and the different hues of blue.

To go with it, I decided to play with denim on denim and add some pops of red. That could easily work with blush as well, if you're not feeling particularly bold. I like how we stick to the classic blue and red but, also, how it's fashionable and not boring at all. As for the embellished denim, you know it holds a special place in my heart. Also, how awesome are those mules?
Let's be honest here. Is there anything more basic atm than a khaki bomber? Probably not. But it's just so versatile and it looks so good. We're not used to seeing it paired with blue, so that's a nice change and I prefer the patterned bermuda shorts from the plain old denim.

Don't you just love the jeans on the hers outfit? The cut and the hem are so 2017 and the butterflies make them so much more interesting and unique. I feel that it's such a cute outfit that you can wear to so many different occasions. It's stylish yet laid back and many different girls can pull it off.
This guy is all about mixing the light neutrals and I love it. It takes guts to wear such light colors. Thus, I think he wouldn't mind dating a girl who isn't afraid to take risks.

That floral ensemble is to die for. It's very airy and bohemian and I like how the black tones it down and goes so nicely with the sandals. I could easily see these two lovebirds strolling around in the city!

So, this is the first part of the looks I put together. I love them all equally and I would easily wear them any day. I think they incorporate many of the styles and the colors I've been loving lately.
What do you guys think? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below and don't forget to visit Bonobos.com to check out their amazing selection of men's clothes! ♥
