Spring 2015 Beauty Essentials♥
Hello guys! How are you? Holidays are over now, so how good can you really be right? No! There are still plenty of things to be happy about. And, of course, one of them is spring! What better thing than blossoms and amazing colors and wonderful weather? It seems like it's time to change that makeup bag of yours!
As always, I got your back. I put together a list with all the beauty holy grails that will keep you satisfied and looking flawless.
  • First, I think that a BB cream is the best option for spring. It offers good coverage, while protecting your skin and having a decent SPF, without looking cakey. Find the one that suits you the best and I'm sure it will become your biggest necessity.
  • I always like to smell good and this Victoria's Secret set is just perfect because it offers lotion and cream and body mist. What more do you need?
  • Rosy flushed cheeks are always a must and I believe that Nasrs "orgasm" is too!
  • Then of course you need a lip balm because unfortunately lips still get chapped. Whether it's EOS or Baby Lips or anything else you like, it works!
  • I have been obsessing over liquified lipstick for like a year now and I think that this one by Too Faced in "Melted Peony" is just perfect for spring.
  • I think I've heard like a zillion people talking about the Roller Lash mascara by Benefit and I believe it's super good too. Who's ready for some spring va-va-voom?
  • Then, you obviously need powder even if you don't have oily skin. Powder just makes your makeup stay on longer and will prevent your spring sweat from ruining it.
  • When it comes to eyeshadow I like to keep it simple and neutral during spring. No more black smokey eyes, I'm afraid XD
  • I am probably one of the biggest fans of dark nails, but in springtime I just can't get enough of the dreamy, romantic pastels.
  • Since the weather is getting warmer and your pants and dresses are getting shorter, a shaving cream is a total must-have, especially if you shave everyday like I do.
  • Lastly, you need a spring themed makeup bag to brighten up your bag and your mood!

#NYFW Handbag Essentials
Wow, two posts in a row? That's so unlike me this year. But, instead of blabbering again about my tiring schedule, I'll cut to the chase. New York Fashion Week!
It's so close and all the people seriously involved with fashion are planning like crazy. Speaking from personal experience, fashion weeks are fun and exciting, but also ridiculously tiring and stressful. Imagine walking from show to show and standing for literally hours in sky high heels. Plus, there are so many people and photographers and loud music all the time. And you have a zillion things in mind. good thing the gorgeous shows make up for all the exhaustion!
So, you understand that your bag is the only thing that can help you get through the day. I decided to put together a list with my 10 necessities for Fashion Week. I obviously won't mention phone and wallet because, who leaves the house without these ever? Let's start!
Bag: You obviously need a bag big enough to fit all the things you need in. I like to experiment depending on the outfit, but there is nothing like a good old black tote. It's versatile, classy and stylish and you can keep it even if you change outfit through the day. This Fendi Peekaboo has a cute twist.
1. Camera
I don't just take pictures of the shows, but also of the crowds, the clothes, the backstage and everything else. And these are the kind of events where you really need good quality and not blurry pictures.
2. Portable Phone Charger
Because you're still going to use your phone a lot for social media and selfies and texts and important calls. The last thing you need is your battery dying.
3. Compact Powder
You will definitely need to touch up a little bit during the day. A compact powder like this with a mirror and the sponge is exactly what you need while you're in the car running from one show to another and you want to cover an imperfection or just to keep your face from breaking and shining.
4. Sunglasses
Apart from the obvious reason, sunnies are perfect to hide your sleepy tired eyes in the morning and also the coolest accessory. Just the thing you need to face the photographers. In case you haven't noticed, your eyes doing weird things are ruining the pictures 80% of the time.
5. Lip balm
You don't want dry, chapped lips and when you're stressed and you get dehydrated that tends to happen. The EOS spheres are perfection no matter the occasion, but you just need to remember not to get the balms in the jar. You really don't want to stick your questionably clean finger in it all day.
6. Mints
A bad breath is terrible, especially when you are meeting so many new, and important people. It's nice to feel fresh and clean all day, no matter what you're going through.
7. Card Holder
It's just too obvious to comment on that XD
8. Notebook
A small, practical notebook always comes in handy especially when you want to write an article or a review afterwards. Or maybe you can write your experiences from the week and have a collection from all the fashion weeks you've been to.
9. Lipstick
You need a chameleon lipstick that goes with any makeup and outfit, just in case. You always keep it in your purse and you have no worries. "Velvet Teddy" from Mac is a very famous nude, and I think it looks good on pretty much everyone.
10. Rollerball perfume
It's not cool to start spraying perfume and all you're going to get is weird looks from everyone. On the contrary, the rollerball is much more discrete and much easier to focus on the areas you need it. A great pick me up during the day.
So guys these are my essentials for a stressing fashion week day. What are your everyday handbag essentials? Let me know in the comments below♥

What to pack
Happy Monday guys! How are you? I finished my exams today so you can guess I am pretty excited. I am already dreaming of travelling and relaxing all day in beautiful beaches. I'll be here thought for another month or so, but this doesn't mean that I'm not thinking ahead. I always do. Plus, I know that many of you are getting ready to leave so I thought I should share my wisdom that I've gathered by going to beautiful islands in summer my whole life. So, if you have planned a vacation to an island or anywhere near the beach, this guide is for you.
1. Passport. First things first. Don't forget your ID or any important papers and use a cardholder to store your go-to stuff. If you're travelling abroad, PASSPORT! It may sound stupid but you'll feel much more stupid at the airport when you realise that you remembered to bring three mosquito repellers but not your passport. Same thing goes for the tickets.
2. Necessaire. French for necessities. Use a multitasking case like this gorgeous orange one, to store your makeup, creams, jewelry and first aids. I would suggest to go for more creams instead of makeup. The sun and the sea/pool are not the best for your skin so it can use all the extra pampering. But you don't need an entire eye shadow palette or five different lippies. Chose the basics. Foundation, concealer, mascara, lipgloss, blush.
3. Care products. Day/night creams, after-sun, moisturizing products, bug repellent, products to treat bug bites etc.
4. Sunscreen. Even if your foundation has an SPF, you still need sunscreen. 20-30 is what I usually use, but if you're as white as I am and get easily burned go for more. I would suggest a tanning oil after the first days at the beach when your skin is already a little tan.
5. A towel. For the beach and not only. Maybe you can't find an extra, maybe you just want your own towel. Bring one.
6. Swimsuit. Whether it's your hot bikini or your stylish overall, chose a favorite and bring a second to change when you get out of the water. It's really bad to leave it wet on your body.
7. A scarf. It's probably the most multitasking and light weight thing that you can bring with you. From simply having it on your neck or tying it fashionably around your head to wearing it as a pashmina to protect your arms from the chills. It may be insanely hot in the morning but it gets colder at night, especially in greek islands. You can also tie it around your waist, short or maxi and go to the beach, or wear it as a fun dress. So, choose the pattern you like the most, because you're going to use it!
8. Sunnies and hat. What else to say here?
9. Headphones. While travelling, at the beach, or when you can't sleep at night. There is always a good time to hear your summer's soundtrack.
10. Book/ magazine. Perfect for long waitings, or many hours of travelling and of course, the best companion at the beach.
11. Sandals. Choose a comfortable, go-with-everything pair. Shoes take up a lot of space, but if you find something that you can wear everywhere all the time then your problem is solved.
12. Jeans. You may think that you won't wear them but it's good to have them with you, just in case. Those chilly nights I told you about, or for the airconditioning in the plane or the boat...
13. Oversized t-shirt. Comfort is what you're looking for when travelling and this particular piece can be worn any time from the beach to the bed and be dressed up or down.
14. Jewelry. Let me tell you I how many I take with me every year and in the end I end up wearing the same again and again. It's simply what works for you that summer. This eye necklace and the multi-bracelet are simply to-die-for and they would compliment perfectly any look. Nobody likes to over accessorize in summer.
15. Travel bag. I mean the bag that you'll have with you, with all your necessities in it. I'm in love with this one from Tory Burch but you should choose whatever works for you best. It's better to have your hands free and being able to carry it on your shoulder. I think the perfect bag would be the new ones that Cara Delevingne designed for Mulberry. It's a backpack, a shoulder bag and a handbag, all in one(love!). I usually take my large Louis Vuitton tote. It fits everything and I can carry it on my shoulder.
Tip: Remember not to throw all your stuff in your bag. Use smaller pouches to store the things you need. One for your phone, chargers etc. , one for your creams and liquids(under 100 ml), and then put your book or your ipad inside. It really helps to store all the papers you're going to need in the order you're going to need them and in the same place.
I think this wraps it for this huge post! I hope I didn't bore you, but travelling needs a lot of planning and focus. I thought I should share with you my tips to make it a little easier for you. I hope I helped. Enjoy your travelling!
