Style me chic:Birkenstock
How are you guys? I hope that May is going great so far! I have so many things to do, but I always find some time to do the things I love. One of these, is creating challenges for myself. Little things to accomplish in order to become better or just have fun. One challenge that came to mind was styling an "ugly" item in a chic way. For my first time, I chose Birkenstock. I don't think that they are ugly the conventional way, but I wouldn't actually call them chic nor pretty and stylish. The whole idea behind the challenge is that I'm always thinking how easy it is to style chic a classic, elegant item. But this pair of shoes is something that you are most likely to wear at the beach or at a very casual and relaxed situation. So, I created two different outfits using the most "chic" pair of Birkenstocks I could find. For the first outfit, I went for the blue on blue combination, which is perfect for this season and one of my favorites. It can flatter a regular figure better than white on white. Then I added some delicate gold jewelry, a minimal Victoria Beckham clutch and this amazing Michael Kors gold watch. Jumping from pastels to classic black and white for the second look, I decided to add some bright colorful accessories. Basically I tried to transform classic minimalism into something more young and fun, but always keeping it simple because of the shoes. Even though I always said that I don't like these(except if you have a problem with your feet, but that's a completely different situation), but I would easily and happily wear both looks.
What do you think of these outfits? Would you wear them? Do you like Birkenstock? Please leave a comment to let me know what you think!

Coachella: Mix n' Match
It's this time of the year. When people all around the globe are getting ready to have the time of their lives. They get dressed and leave for a beautiful place to hear some amazing artists perform and party. Yes, I'm talking about coachella! The festival that music legends such as The Beatles, Nirvana and Jimi Hendrix have attended making it legendary itself. Many things to plan before you go there. Where to stay, what to pack... And of course, what to wear! Unfortunately, I've never been there and I'm not going this year either, but I swear that I will go some day! Of course this doesn't mean that I can't give you some fashion advice. Whenever I hear Coachella, only one word comes to mind. Bohemian! Boho chic, boho romantic or boho rock, that's up to you! I'm just going to give you some tips considering what I would wear myself. Some must-haves if you want to. I know I say fringes way too much but I don't mean to wear them all together. Just one piece with fringes at a time is enough! Also, some people say that the floral crown trend is over but I think they are Coachella appropriate. So these are my options and some words to get exactly what I mean.

Ankle boots: Stylish, comfy, leather, suede, go with everything
Gladiator sandals: Statement piece, perfect for warm weather
Shorts: Jeans or a fun print like floral or tribal, comfy, amazing
Cropped tops: White, lace, fringes, bustiers, ethnic
Ethnic jewelry: Gold, fringes, layers, statement, boho
Waistcoats: Jean, leather, lace, patterns, fringes, earth tones
Crossbody bags: Fun colors, animal prints, fringes, free your hands, dance, eat, drink easily
Floral crowns: Well, yeah, floral crowns...!
Retro sunglasses: Round, floral, crazy styles

I guess that's it! Do you like it? Please leave a comment to let me know what you think and follow me on Polyvore if you want to check out my latest sets!

?More or less? #3
You've probably realised by now how much I love finding more affordable solutions of the same outfit or product. Initially, this started as an attempt to find items myself that would be similar to the ones I saw online and costed too much. But then, I started to put together entire looks in order to help other women in the same place as me. I am determined to make everyone understand that money and style are not connected at all. Money is just a luxury that might give you a head-start, and of course we all love designer clothes! But, if you can't afford them it doesn't mean that you can't have style. To me style is something that's inside you, something you can cultivate but you can't buy!
In this set I made on Polyvore, I created a very relaxed yet chic outfit that you can easily wear for your everyday activities. The difference between the prices is huge(mostly because of the pendant) so I decided to add an inexpensive J.Crew shirt at the affordable set. Technically, it's a designer piece, but if you choose another cheaper shirt the price of the entire look is even lower! The entire second look actually costs less than every single product of the other look(except the shirt)! Kinda shocking isn't it?
Which one of the two outfits do you prefer?
