STYLE ME CHIC: SUMMER ANIMAL PRINT

You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye♥

Wow...this week went by so fast! Or is it just me? With all that is happening here at the moment, all I want to do is just go on vacation and forget about everything else. You feel me?
Recently, I came across many different animal print pieces-mainly leopard. Personally, I never was a big fan of animal prints, although I must say that I am obsessed with my leopard sneakers♥ I know that many girls feel the same way, or just find it difficult to incorporate different prints in their look.
Thus, I decided to put together some looks using printed pieces. My goal was to create something summery and chill yet chic and wearable at the same time. It's so easy to cross the line between extravagant and tacky when it comes to animal prints!
The first look(header) is on the trendy side. Crewneck crop top, Drew bag, kimono, Quay sunnies...It's all here! I think that the espadrilles compliment the romantic neutrals very nicely and they take the whole look one step further.
Resort♥
The second one might be someone's least favorite mainly because a lot of people don't feel comfortable with showing their bra. If you're not one of them though, I think the bra gives a nice edge to this plain cream dress.

For some reason when I look at the third look I can't help but picturing it in the city. Maybe the black elements just don't make me think of a breezy summer landscape. Did I tell you how much I've been liking denim dresses like that lately? This bag is crazy and that is why I kept everything else very simple.
Drop that kitty down low♥
The last one is exactly what I wear here in the city when I'm running errands or even when I'm having coffee with my friends. Here the leopard print is very subtle and I think this is the look that most girls would feel comfortable in.
So, these are the sets I created. I hope you guys like them! Let me know how YOU like to wear animal print in the summer in the comments below♥

MARA HOFFMAN SWIMSUITS

Hello everyone! How is this week going for you so far? Not too great for me-but I'm kinda used to that. That is why I decided to cheer myself(and you of course) up with a fun and summery post. By the way, did I mention that the weather here is driving me crazy? Seriously, this hour yesterday it was raining and today it's unbelievably hot.
Anyway, today I wanted to share with you the new swimsuit collection by Mara Hoffman. You probably don't remember it, but last year I was raving about her pieces. They are a bit pricey, I mean, for something that will inevitably be ruined after swimming in the pool or the ocean. But I think they are very interesting and different, especially since everyone is unhealthily obsessing over the Triangl bikinis(myself included!).
I really like the geometric feel of the collection, although I must admit that I actually prefer last year's suits, as you can see here.
All in all, I don't know if you should spend 200$ for a bikini, but they sure look very cute and they make it feel like summer so, you can just stare at them over here-like I do^*
Let me know what you think about them in the comments below♥

STYLE ME CHIC: FENDI MOCCASINS

Style me chic: FENDI #1
Hello guys! How are you? I hope your weekend is great so far!
A couple of days ago I came across the new shoes collection by Fendi. I don't know if you've seen it yet, but there are three pairs of moccasins in it. They look very much like Tod's gommino loafers but they have the Fendi twist. As an avid lover of the Fendi peekaboo bags I must admit that I was a little eeeh when I saw these. It's not that they're not pretty(they're not Louboutin pumps though!), but they are not exactly the most flattering shoes, especially for an average height person like me. Also, constantly being on a budget doesn't really allow you to experiment with stuff like that.
Like I said, I have nothing against these shoes and since they are out of most girls' comfort zone, I saw a challenge. How can I make these appealing to all my girls out there? How can I make them look effortlessly chic? Challenge accepted! XD
I used my good old friend Polyvore and I created 3 different looks with these colorful moccasins.
The first one(header) is very preppy and would be a great fit in my previous post. I really like how the bold orange compliments the light neutrals. Perfect for strolling around in the morning during your vacation. Either buttoned up-or down ;)

The second one is young, fresh and laid back. As you can tell, I used the color palette of the shoes are my guide here. I think it's a different and chic take on the distressed boyfriend jeans.
Style me chic: FENDI #3
The last one has the bolder(monster) shoes and that is why I wanted to keep the rest a bit low-key. Following again the colors of the shoe, I spiced up the plain-old black and denim combo a little. This one is more feminine and romantic-unlike the style of the moccasins.
So, these are the three looks I put together. Would I wear all these? Yes! Would I splurge on the shoes? Probably not. I think there are many other shoes that you can wear with these outfits. But, if you are curious to try the whole loafer trend then you can probably find some for a lot less than these Fendi ones. Just my humble opinion of course^*
You can also check out my take on the Tod's gommino and the Style me chic version of the Birkenstocks if you like!
What about you guys? How do you feel about these? Let me know in the comments below♥
