Hello my darlings! I'm back! I finally finished with my finals and I couldn't be happier. I am so ready to relax and have fun and see all my friends again. Let's just ignore the fact that I've been working all day today :P
Anyway, today I wanted to do a Valentine's Day post for all my lovebirds out there. Personally, I don't celebrate it a)because I'm single and dating and b)because I feel that, if you are in love, every day is special. It doesn't matter though, because I love creating sets and articles about this "holiday".
This time, I teamed up with Bonobos again, to create two looks for you. If you've been with me for a while, you might remember our previous collaboration. If not, you can check it out here. Bonobos, basically offers high quality menswear, and I can guarantee that you'll look like a million bucks if you get your clothes from their website I absolutely love their chic and polished aesthetic and I wish more men would dress like that. Well, a girl can dream ;)
If you're looking to buy menswear for yourself or a special someone, I would highly recommend you to check out their website and especially their pant's page.
The first look that I created (header) is very bold yet classy. This suit is what black tie dreams are made of and I just adore how lovely it looks with the deep red clothes. This has to be my favorite shade of red-almost bordeaux-and I think it's so sexy and sultry, especially paired with the black sandals. I love red on red and, since it can get pretty intense, I would suggest keeping everything else (including the makeup) pretty minimal. This look is proof that you can be sexy and feminine without showing too much skin or wearing tight clothes. Lastly, let's just admit that if we saw this couple out on Valentine's Day, we'd be pretty darn jealous XD

Bonobos: valentine's day ♥
The second look is a bit more casual yet still very polished and glam. I really like the laid-back vibe of the suit and how well it plays with the pink candy tones. I feel like this is fit for a younger couple who wanted to dress up for the special occasion, hence the diamond choker. The pumps are simply to die for ♥ and the makeup set from Kylie's collections is just perfect for the look!

So, what do you guys think? Which one of these looks is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below ♥

DAY 2 NIGHT ft. AUrate ♥

Hello my loves! Enjoying the rain today? I sure was happy I finally got to wear my boots again! They're such a great staple and one of my favorite transition pieces.
Transition doesn't always have to be from one season to another but, also, from day to night. It's so nice to find great staple pieces that you can dress up or down, depending on your obligations and your mood.
The gold bar necklace from AUrate, is certainly one of them. Honestly, I would say that it is so chic and versatile that you could wear it literally anywhere from the beach to the most glamorous fashion gala. Today, I wanted to incorporate it into two looks that I would definitely wear from day to night. I also used that gorgeous slip dress as a glam key piece in both looks.
For the daytime version, I added a white t-shirt which instantly takes it from Carrie Bradshaw naked dress to 2016 hot street trend. I love how the sneakers and the distressed denim make the look more sporty and casual.
As for the evening look, I opted for black accessories to make the gold dress and necklace really stand out. Perfect and basic, with a touch of sparkling glam. So me♥
I believe that both these looks are extremely wearable and easy to pull off by anyone. My goal was to show you that you could be casual and comfy, even while wearing 14k gold, at work, college etc.
So, what do you guys think? What would you pair this lovely necklace with? Let me know in the comments below ^* and don't forget to visit the AUrate website to check out their entire collection!

I know, I know...another style file! I can't help it, you guys. Not only I adore this category, but it's also the easiest thing to do since I am already hunting for trends all day. I'm a stylist at heart and these posts just give me so much inspiration, so many things to work with.
Anyway, today I'm going to blab about tweed. I mean, it's October, I am officially allowed to obsess about cold weather clothes. And tweed might be one of the best. Let me start by saying that I think it's so commonly mistaken for an "old age fabric". And for good reason. I mean, the two names that pop to mind when I hear tweed are Jackie O' and Queen Elizabeth. Not exactly teen pop sensations.
But, tweed can also be styled in a very modern and fashion forward way (God bless Karl). This fabric has been all over the f/w16 runways and street style icons have been loving it as well. Let's not forget that, apart from the uber ladylike chanel suits, it also comes with some very masculine vibes. Aka, perfect for all the tomboys out there! Imagine a long grey tweed coat with jeans and b&w Adidas. So cool.
It's chic, it's comfy, it's warm and versatile and-probably above all-it's an all time classic. The best part is, that you can also find it in non-boring colors(if you think that grey is boring anyway), like neon pink.
What's more to ask for? Consider me hooked.
What about you guys? Will you be wearing tweed this season? Let me know in the comments below♥

It may be a billion degrees outside today but, overall, it's coat season y'all! I am beyond excited, if you can't tell. I think that coats are just so chic and comfy and it feels so good to be finally able to not show any skin.
Don't get me wrong, I am utterly in love with the warmer months, but it's not ideal to be constantly checking if you shaved properly, if your arms and legs are toned enough, if your dress is too short, if your self tan is beginning to look streaky etc. Coats provide comfort and coverage and, if you choose wisely, you'll feel like you're walking around wrapped in a comfy blanket all day. Need I say more?
If you're on a budget, like me, you probably opt for a more versatile style and color that you can pair with pretty much anything. And I mean anything...from jeans and sneakers, to a formal dress, to your pjs when you walk your dog in the morning. But, coats can also be a statement on their own and make an entire look. I mean, who can argue that during Scandal you don't watch Olivia Pope's coats before anything else? They're just divine.
I am seriously obsessed with coats and I definitely need many more in my closet. Preferably from the collection I put together :P Until then, we can all just daydream about them-or browse through their instagram accounts-yes that's a thing.

{Please note that I am in no means promoting real fur, I just like the way these coats look. I would never ever buy them myself!}

What about you guys? What is your favorite coat to wear this season? Let me know in the comments below♥
