MY GREEK LITTLE PARADISE: EASTER BY THE SEA

Hey guys! Happy Easter again! Like I told you in my last post, here we celebrated this past weekend. I honestly had such an amazing time these two days.
I took some time off from all the studying and stressing and got to relax and have fun with my family and friends. These photos here are from Sunday, when we went on a road trip. It's quite of a long drive to a tavern we go to this time every year and we get to spend the entire day at different places near the sea. So, what you see here are four different beaches and a lake near the beach.
Going at the beach, especially during this time of the year is like therapy to me. Taking long walks, sitting on the cliffs and just breathing. Unfortunately living in a big city sometimes makes me feel like I can't breathe. Also, feeling the sun on my skin for a change was a great break from studying and staying inside all day. So, long story short, I got to recharge my batteries and feel happy for a little while^^
What did you guys do this weekend? Have you ever been at any of these places? Let me know in the comments below♥

MY GREEK LITTLE PARADISE: BEACH BY THE CITY

Hello guys! How are you all? I hope your weekend went well. Mine was great because I had the chance to relax for a while and unwind, which we all know is hard to find.
On Saturday morning I went at the beach with my bestie. Of course we didn't swim, with 15⁰C and less outside, but we had so much fun just hanging by the sea and feeling the sun on our skins. I know most people wouldn't call this an "adventure" but for us it was, especially when you're used to being inside everyday studying or walking in the city.
Anyways, I decided to film some moments and I think they make a cute video. After all this blog is also about travelling!
I hope that you guys like what I did. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below♥

MY GREEK LITTLE PARADISE: PAROS

Wow, I can't believe I'm back home writing this from my desk! It feels like yesterday that I wrote my last post while travelling to Paros. This 10 day trip, truly was amazing beyond any expectation. I got to do all the things I wanted to, and even more. I saw some of the people I love the most and also met some new ones. I had so much fun and got to see once again this beautiful island that manages to take my breath away every single time. It's not just the landscapes and the little streets, it's the memories as well. But I can only share with you a tiny bit of this beauty. The cute little streets, the sea, the sky, the sun setting in the horizon that seems limitless...
I'm sad I couldn't stay longer, but I can't complain. My days there were fantastic and I can't wait to go back there next year. But for now, let's daydream a little and prepare for another exciting upcoming trip. Do you want to daydream with me? Enjoy!

MY GREEK LITTLE PARADISE: ATHENS NATIONAL GARDEN

Happy Sunday everyone! Let's go back a few sundays, the day I visited the National Garden. I was born and raised in Athens and so did my parents and grandparents. I love Greece so much, for the natural beauty, the history, the sea and the sky. Sometimes it gets a little or a lot overwhelming in the big city. It feels like you need a getaway from the cars and the stress. So, you can imagine what a delight it is to be able to do that, without having to leave the city. The National Garden, used to be the Royal Garden, right next to the old palace that is now the parliament. So if you thought that this beautiful place is like in the suburbs or anything, you may want to rethink. It is right in the city center, I mean you can go there with any public transportation. It's peaceful, full of trees and flowers, and I'm sure that if I had more time, I would have seen more. One of the best parts is that everyone seems to be respecting the peacefulness of the place, because even though there were many people there, everyone was quiet and devoted to something. Jogging, reading, drinking a beverage, having a picnic or just enjoying some alone time in this beautiful place. You can also find a cafe inside it, and lakes and many more. I just love how the sun rays pass through the leaves creating a beautiful abstract pattern and how you can look up and see the tall palm trees and clear blue sky. Kinda reminds me of some scenes from old movies in the countryside of England(not the palm trees!), but with slightly more light! It's absurd to think that this huge place once belonged to only one person. But now it's free for everyone and I highly recommend you visit it. I promise you won't regret it!
Do you guys like this "little" paradise? Have you ever visited Athens? Please leave a comment to let me know what you think!
