HOLIDAY MAKEUP ♡

Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe it's finally 2017? I am so glad that we are moving on from the year that must not be named ;) I had the most amazing time on nye and I really hope you did too. Being genuinely happy around my friends and family is something so precious and empowering and it really gave me hope for the future. May the new year bring happiness, health, love and success to us all! I wish all the best for you and your loved ones ♥
I don't know about you, but makeup always makes me happy. Thus, one of the things that put a smile on my face this holiday season, were all the press samples I received. Aromca was kind enough to send me a bunch of makeup and I can't thank them enough!
I mostly got lip products. A gorgeous waterproof lipliner from Artdeco in the shade "10", a lovely deep red shade(1st swatch). I also got a matte red lipstick (Perfect Mat 116 Poppy Red) from the same brand (3rd swatch) and a creamy one from Erre Due (Full Color Lipstick No.420 Criminal Red) in a similar shade (2nd swatch). Both of them have orange undertones-which are not my favorite-but they are very pretty. The only downside to the E.D. lipstick is that is bleeds and gets on my teeth. Like, a lot :/ So I guess I either need a lip primer or a lipliner underneath.
The third lipstick that I got was also from Erre Due (4th swatch) in the shade 587. It's a gorgeous matte vine shade that is right up my alley. It vanished when I ate, but stayed put all night when I was drinking on NYE ;)

I'm really excited about the highlighter that I got too. It's in the shade Cinderella Pink-My Precious Glow (5th swatch) and it's a lovely pinky-white shade. It offers more of a subtle glow, but it gets better if you spray it with some Fix Plus. It has a gorgeous floral design and it smells like a delicious cupcake♥ #yum
Other than that, I got the Velvet Touch Lengthening Mascara from Artdeco and a brow pencil from Erre Due. I haven't tried either of them because I already have some mascaras in my rotation and I didn't want this one to dry out and I also gave the brow pencil to my mum as a gift, since I don't need to fill in my eyebrows.
All in all, I am beyond excited with all the makeup that was send to me and I can't wait to play more with it!

DIAMOND CHOKER & BRA ♡

Hello my loves! Are you feeling excited for New Year's Eve? I know I am! I can't believe 2016 has finally come to an end. On the one hand, I had tons of fun and I achieved some amazing things. On the other hand, I went through some really bad things and I am so down to leave them behind tonight.
I wish that the new year will bring health, happiness, love and success. I wish all the best to you and your families. May our future be as bright as our highlighter ♥ Happy NYE!
I don't know about you, but I have been planning my outfit for NYE for a while now. It's just the perfect opportunity to dress up and get all fancy with a full face of makeup. I'm really excited to be as extra as I can :P And I obviously encourage all of you to do the same. Glow baby glow, and blind the haters ;)
Anyway, today I wanted to tell about an accessory that I've been seeing literally everywhere-especially on Instagram. I'm talking about those gorgeous diamond chokers and bras. 2016 was the year when chokers really made a comeback. I mean, everyone and their mom had at least two.
Diamond chokers though, are not for everyone. You have to be pretty brave to wear them since, it's guaranteed that they will make everyone's head turn. Especially if you pair them with a diamond bra. I feel that those two together make a very bold pair. I am absolutely in love and I think that they are perfect for NYE.
I am actually going to wear a diamond choker tonight, but I had to refrain from the bra cause I'm not quite sure how my D-cups would fit in a bra like that. And, since I'm gonna be dancing, I don't want to risk flashing everyone :P
Nonetheless, I am obsessed with this trend and I think it totally matches my personality. It's easy to pull it off, especially if you are comfortable with showing cleavage. It's the perfect touch to glam up any look and, if you wear those, you don't even have to try for the rest of your outfit.
To me, it looks so effortlessly glam and I think that you could even pair it with casual clothes and makeup for a more everyday look. That, of course, depends on your personal style and preferences. I would wear it without a doubt!
What about you guys? What do you think of those lovely diamond pieces? Let me know in the comments below♥

NYE OUTFITS♥ {holiday edition}

NYE #6
NYE #6 by ell0oukaa featuring clear handbags
I simply cannot believe that this is my last post for 2015! It's so surreal. In my head, summer was just a month ago-no joke. I'm so grateful for all the good things that happened this year, and of course for all the bad ones that didn't come my way. I want to wish you and your families all the best and I pray that the new year will bring luck and happiness to us all!
Let's get to the post now♥ You know the drill, I created 6 different, completely festive outfits for NYE.
The first one(header) is just gold, some gold and a little more gold...aka...NYE! I'm obsessing over everything in this look and I would wear it for the rest of the year if I could ;)
NYE #1

The second one is very glamorous. Sexy yet chic, safe with the black yet daring and festive with the glitter. I got a little carried away after that...XD
NYE #2
The next one is for that classy yet young and playful girl. I would(obviously) wear the ears with this look for New Year's. I think it's different but very holiday appropriate!
NYE #3
NYE #3 by ell0oukaa featuring Alice + Olivia
The fourth one is probably one of my favorites. Very 20's sexy vavavoom, very modern-day Gatsby! I'm in love!
NYE #4
NYE #4 by ell0oukaa featuring nars cosmetics
I absolutely adore the rose gold paired with the pink in the fifth look. I really like that every piece is very unique on it's own yet they all go so well together!
NYE #5
NYE #5 by ell0oukaa featuring a white singlet
The last one is for the mature, chic and fashionable girl out there! It is probably the most comfortable out of the six, but I wouldn't call it conservative. [I know I went a little overboard with all the fur in this post but I promise I only support faux-fur, I could never put a poor dead animal on me.] Anyways, I love the whole iced silver theme here!
My last festive song of choice is this one by Michael Buble. I know it's not one of his typical holiday songs but it always makes me think of this time of year♥
That is it guys! I hope you liked my last post for 2015! See you again in 2016♥
Happy New Year!
