TOP 5 LIP COLORS FOR SUMMER 2014(VIDEO)

I know, it's been a while since I posted and it's not acceptable! But, in my defense, things have been sooo crazy and hectic. Remember how I was all nagging about the exams and everything? Well, I thought, when the exams are over, things will get better, I will have more time. But nooo! I have to work twice as hard now and I am extremely tired. Together with that, a really good friend of mine was leaving so I had to make the time to see her and say goodbye. So no fashion, no alone time and certainly no time for blogging.
BUT! I decided to film a video for you guys instead. I've been meaning to do this for a long time but something always got in the way. It's my very first one so, please be nice and cut me some slack. I hope I didn't make any mistakes while talking, but since English is not my first language, you never know.
Anyways, I hope that you like it! Please subscribe to my channel and like my video and leave me a comment to let me know what you think!

MALEFICENT X MAC

If only someone could buy me all the amazing stuff I'm craving! MAC's new makeup collection is finally here and I want every single thing. It's inspired by the new upcoming movie Maleficent with the lovely Angelina Jolie. I'm hooked already for so many reasons, as you've probably realised if you follow me on instagram. Check out my sketch of the character here
The second I saw the nail polishes, I knew I'd love the line(you know how much I love nail polish). Many dark shades, nudes, false lashes, and of course, the reds! I am officially in love with all the reds of the collection. I just think that all the products are simply perfect for fall and winter, but I wouldn't mind wearing them in spring and summer too.
MAC had other products with Maleficent in the past, for the Villain collection. They had more glitter, that's for sure, but I think they are both great. That's where the makeup sketch in the end comes from. I just thought it's really cool if you want to create a look inspired by the movie, even if you don't use these products.
As I said, I want this entire evil, dark and venomous line, but I think I'm going for the nail polish and the lippies first!
Do you guys like this new collection? Are you a fan of MAC? Please leave a comment to let me know what you think!

DIS OUI À LA VIE

Today, I want to introduce to you a jewelry brand, Vinca! Created by Amanda Dimova in 2006, this line based in Austin Texas, consists in creative and unique pieces suitable for any age. Unusual, fun, made by silver, wood and acrylic, cut by the designer herself. In addition to her creativeness, she makes it her mission to donate thousands of dollars worth of jewelry to charity and she also creates special designs to raise money for specific causes.
{I really like this song btw}
If you want a taste of what you can find in her collection, take a look at this adorable necklace they sent me. The truth is that it took me a while to choose which one of their pieces I wanted, but I finally decided. This necklace says "oui" which means "yes" in french. I just thought that apart from being super cute, it also reflects the motto we should have in our lives. We should be optimistic and open to new things, willing to take risks and not be afraid to live. We should say yes to life, to love, to happiness!
You can find this and many more adorable pieces at their website www.vincaUSA.com. Do you like the necklace I chose? Which one of their collection is your favorite? Please leave a comment to let me know what you think!

TWIGGY

Today I want to talk to you about one of my style icons, one of my favorite models of all time, Twiggy (Lesley Lawson)! British, started to work as a model while she was still a teenager and she managed to conquer the fashion world and become one of the symbols of the 60's. She became famous for her petite figure and her androgynous style. Big eyes, long lashes, short hair. Her creativeness and sense of fashion made her the inventor of the lashes drawn under the eyes, named after her. What can anyone say for her? It's such a shock to hear people say"I don't know who she is" or "she's ugly"! A legendary icon, a powerful source of inspiration, she is and will always be my favorite!
What do you guys think of her?
